Yao and I are both ocean lovers and we both hold advanced open water diver license, which give us opportunity to explore the deep blue even deeper. Earlier this month, Yao and I we went to scuba diving in Key Largo in Florida. It’s also the inspiration for this project for us.
Apart from exploring a couple ship wrecks in the ocean, we also saw many fascinating animals. This shark is what caught our eye the most, because we were so so close to it, we decided to use this photo as our main source for this project.

The aim is to implement a unique dynamic wavy blurring effect by dividing an image into small blocks (pixel blocks) and applying a wave effect. When the mouse hovers over a specific area, these pixel blocks become clear, creating an engaging and visually rich interactive experience.
